CARMBA Newsletter

Members receive our bi-monthly newsletter, Two Up, with details of meetings, information about the association, advertisements, articles of interest and much more. Members can also elect to receive the AMBA National Newsletter, AMBA News, in alternate months, as well as several other more specialised newsletters such as Triplet Connection (for families with higher order multiples), Special Multiples (for families where one or more multiples have a special need) and Multiple Dreams (for bereaved multiple birth families).

Helpful Hints for Parents of Multiples

A collection of tried and true hints collected by parents of twins and triplets to help other parents with multiples

Sections include:

  • Everyday life with your multiples

This booklet is an excellent resource for those who have, or are soon to have, twins, triplets or more. The short sections make it easy to read and there are some great photos and graphics as well as details of CARMBA services and contacts.

Twins in School

This booklet deals with four aspects of the situations facing twins in preschool and school. After this general introduction, issues at the time twins start preschool are addressed with particular emphasis on their language development. Then the question of reading development is considered as there are special problems which some twins face in this regard. Finally the dilemma over separation in school is analysed and some suggestions made about deciding what may be best for a particular pair of twins at this stage of their schooling.
